We celebrate 149 years since the heroic feat of the Bulgarian poet and revolutionary Hristo Botev

On June 2, Bulgaria marks the Day of Hristo Botev and those who died for the country’s freedom and independence.

This year marks 149 years since the death of Hristo Botev – poet, revolutionary, and symbol of sacrifice for the homeland.
